How can adjustments help my migraines?

Adjustments can help address underlying issues such as neck tension, spinal misalignments, and muscle tightness, potentially reducing migraine frequency and severity. Techniques like spinal manipulation, massage, and trigger point therapy can improve blood flow, relax muscles, and reduce nerve pressure, offering relief for migraines with neck or musculoskeletal origins.

Stretching & Strengthening

Gentle stretching can help relieve migraines by releasing tension in the neck, shoulders, and head. Movements such as neck rotations and scapular retractions (squeezing shoulder blades together) can target areas of tension. Before trying any of these stretches or exercises, be sure to consult with Dr. Tarry to determine the best course of action. And as always, ice is your friend - especially with migraines and headaches. Place a cloth at the base of your skull and an ice pack on the cloth for 20 minutes on, 20 minutes off, and 20 minutes on again.
